Instructor bio:

Casey Quon is an active cello student and teacher in the SF bay area. He began his musical career at the age of 8 on the instrument, and is currently attending his fourth year at San Francisco State University as a major in Music. Since his enrollment at SF State he has studied under Alexander Walsh-Wilson of the renowned Alexander String Quartet, and has gained experience teaching his own studio of beginning to intermediate students. He has been hired to play at venues such as Redwood City’s Fox Theatre, and has performed numerous gigs and events throughout the Bay. Though, while trained classically, Casey also enjoys a healthy dose of musical collaboration with friends and colleagues. He has collaborated with various San Francisco bands and hip-hop groups, as well as produces music himself.
